2019
My solo show, Operation: Immigration, is my father's story as an immigrant twice--from Iran to Israel, then later Israel to the United States--and how his life informs my identity in modern day America. The piece premiered at the MN Fringe Festival under the direction and guidance of Robert Dorfman.
It won a Golden Lanyard Award.
2020
Six Points Theater Company commissions the expansion of Operation: Immigration into a full-length production.
Unfortunately, as COVID hits, we pivot and create a theatrical film that is streamed around the world.
2021
Theatre L'Homme Dieu requests for the solo piece to be brought back to the stage as part of their summer season.
The piece is renamed.
2023
Now for something completely different:
A musical comedy about two elderly friends, and ex-vaudville performers, partnering up one last time to raise money and save their home from developers.
