Who Is This Guy?
Hey there, welcome to my website!
If you've gotten here, you may be interested in me as an actor.
Or maybe as a writer.
But hopefully for sure as a human.
So where do I begin?
From the suburbs of Minnesota, to the mysteriously wet streets of New York City, my life has been a journey fit for a hobbit. Or a hot elf.
In my childhood, I grew up in a dual-language household. We spoke English, one of the most useful languages to know. And Hebrew, one of the least.
In my teens, on the first day of musical theater summer camp, I thought, "Oh this is what I want to do with the rest of my life." A decision much to the dismay of my Jewish mother who hoped I'd go into Law or Medicine.
Well I showed her. Just a few years later I was fortunate enough to get my first professional acting job at 16. Minneapolis hadn't seen a better Peter in Romeo & Juliet....mostly becuase that role is usually cut.
In my twenties, when not acting professionally, I was living abroad and travelling the world. Having spent time in over twenty countries, my stories shaped my artistry. Because life still happens when away from home, the highs are higher and the lows are lower, creating a rich tapesty of experiences to draw from.
And now I can make a mean hummus.
Now in my thirties, having recently finished graduate school in Chicago, ready to see what the next plot twist of my life will be.
Because these grey hairs aren't turning back.
